The study involved 41 participants, both female and male, aged between 19 and 60, who were experiencing telogen effluvium hair loss. After 120 days of using OptiMSM®, significant improvements were observed in several key metrics: hair density, hair density terminal, and hair diameter. Subjective assessments by the participants also noted a reduction in hair loss, alongside perceived improvements in hair strength, resistance, volume, and general vitality.

The study implies that Horsetail Extract may similarly benefit hair health by enhancing collagen availability and supporting the structural integrity of hair.
